EKC Dover College   Wellbeing Centre Mural

The Brief

​

EKC Dover College commissioned Caridade Studio to create a large-scale digital mural for its Wellbeing Centre, designed to create a welcoming environment while celebrating Dover, nature and student wellbeing. The project began with a digital illustration workshop where Art students explored themes of place and nature, providing drawings and ideas that became the foundation of the final mural.

The Challenge

​

The challenge was to transform the students' drawings into a cohesive, large-scale composition inspired by comic-book panels and sequential storytelling. Symbols including the kingfisher, raft, hops, apples and foxgloves reference Dover, Kent, learning and wellbeing, creating a visual narrative about growth, resilience and connection. The finished mural brings together student creativity and local storytelling to create an uplifting space for the College community.
